Our new subsidiary company, Polaris Audio, is launching music technology software for media composers and music producers. We currently are a team of 3 who have designed this first product which is a cello sample library. We are a third-party developer for Native Instruments Holding GmbH and our library will be released as a Kontakt instrument via Native Instruments' Native Access portal. The product is nearing completion and we are looking a young and talented web developer who is interested in working with our team. The applicant awarded the position will work closely with our UI/UE designer who has designed apps for Ableton Live, Nokia, and Doctaroo to ensure the Polaris brand consistency.
Other details about the WEB DEVELOPER position
- -Responsible for the coding, design and layout of the website
- -Create additional graphics of the highest standard
- -Optimizing user experience
- -Assist with coding the payment portal according to the guidelines provided by Native Instruments
Job responsibilities
- -Writing efficient code
- -Creating a website using standard HTML/CSS practices
- -Working closely with our designers and programmers to produce the website
- -Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content via Slack
- -Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
- -Attend weekly team meetings via Google Meet
The ideal candidate
- -A motivated individual who loves collaborating with others
- -Current grad student (master's student) or recent graduate
- -At least 3 years of web development experience
- -Able to contribute ideas and solve problems if they should arise
- -Able to meet weekly deadlines
- -Someone who has some experience with music, especially music production
Compensation
Type: Temporary, Remote, Part-time (4-6 weeks)
Rate: $20 per hour
